Thoughts on the last few weeks...

A friend and I were joking about making a t-shirt that said "Im a Christian, I just cant stand people!". We had a good laugh and though funny, this statement truly reflects much of my struggle with religious people in the church, and hence the struggle with myself so many times. In our struggle within ourselves being legalistic, and yes we will be, it's okay as long as we don't stay there. We should not however, be okay with those that choose to stay in that legalistic religious mentality and then attempt to poison the rest of us. I hate this mentality because I resemble it so often. Ive learned in this beautiful walk of sanctification Jesus is taking me through, when I point my disdain at someone or some group, there is 3 fingers pointing back at me. So we struggle and its the way it should be. But as Matt Chandler puts it, "In our struggle we need to struggle well".
